About The Opportunity Our client is a well-established Canadian manufacturing leader with extensive processing capabilities, recognized for their innovation, modern facilities, and commitment to quality and are a tier one supplier to the manufacturing industry.
Their products are in high demand across multiple industries including manufacturers of building materials, automotive, equipment, tools, hardware, industrial equipment, and much much more.
They are now expanding their team to support new market opportunities and strengthen their presence across North America. This NEWLY CREATED role is instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, developing and nurturing relationships with key prospects, and enhancing market presence in strategically identified manufacturing segments.
Who You Are We’re looking for a resourceful, entrepreneurial minded, strategic thinker — a sharp, proactive self-starter with a pioneering mindset. You think creatively and challenge conventional thinking with confidence and insight.
Highly self-aware, you know when to contribute strategically and when to shift into disciplined follow-through, partnering closely with the VP of Sales to move initiatives forward. Tech-savvy and efficient, you leverage CRM systems, digital tools, and modern applications to work smarter, operate at a high level, and drive measurable growth.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of sales and/or business development experience.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with a history of effective client engagement.
- Based in Mississauga with some travel required.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Tech-savvy with strong proficiency in CRM systems and digital tools to support high-performance execution.
