Client Growth Manager
About the role
Client Growth Manager
Remote · Canada · Full-time
inecta makes inecta Food — a purpose-built ERP for food and beverage manufacturers, processors, and distributors. Our clients run some of the most complex supply chains in the industry, and we help them run them better.
We're hiring a Client Growth Manager to own the commercial relationship with our existing client base. This is a growth role, not a support role. The mandate is simple: find what our clients could be doing with inecta Food that they aren't yet — and make it happen.
What You'll Do
You'll own a portfolio of live inecta clients — some actively engaged, some between projects, some who've gone quiet. Your job is to know each of them well enough to have a real conversation about where their business is headed, and to connect their needs to inecta Food capabilities they aren't yet using.
That means proactive outreach — QBRs, product update calls, check-ins that aren't just about support tickets. It means identifying expansion opportunities (new modules, additional licenses, enhancement phases) and moving them forward. And it means catching a client drifting toward churn before it becomes a problem.
When an opportunity develops into a formal scoping engagement, you'll bring in our Business Solutions team — experienced presales consultants who handle requirements and proposals for existing client expansions. You stay close to the account throughout and you're already thinking about what comes next.
You'll own all account communications to existing clients — product updates, feature spotlights, account-specific outreach. You set the agenda and the message; you coordinate with Business Solutions for accuracy and with our content team for execution.
If you spot a new logo opportunity through your client relationships, we want to know — there's a referral path and variable compensation for leads that close.
If you've worked in ERP consulting and wanted to get off the delivery treadmill without leaving the industry, this is the role.
What You'll Need
-
A background in ERP consulting or implementation — you need delivery credibility with clients who've been through an ERP implementation, ideally inecta Food or a comparable food and beverage ERP
-
The commercial instinct to recognize an expansion opportunity and the confidence to pursue it — this isn't order-taking, it's active business development within a warm client base
-
Fluency in how food ERP deployments work: what clients actually care about post-go-live, what goes wrong, how ERP licensing and service economics work
-
Strong communication skills — you'll be talking to operations directors, IT managers, and CFOs; you need to be useful to all of them
-
Self-direction: you're managing your own book of business; no one is going to hand you a call list
Compensation
Base salary of $110,000–$130,000 CAD depending on experience and level, plus variable compensation paid semi-annually. The primary variable component is tied to net new inecta Food SaaS license growth you originate from the existing client base. A secondary component pays on expansion services gross margin from projects you originated. Additional variable applies to new client leads you originate that close. Variable is uncapped. Total compensation scales with what you close.
Realistic on-target earnings of $155,000–$227,000 CAD depending on level and performance.
