The Library Assistant greets library patrons, registers their memberships, enters their document loans, processes their returns, shelves documents and performs other relevant tasks
Qualifications required
Profile
- Secondary school diploma (or the equivalent as recognized by the Department of Education of Quebec);
- Ability to work with the public and on a variable schedule: day, evening, weekend;
- Bilingualism French and English;
- Computer skills.
Employment status
Schedule (subject to change)
Position – 23 hours / week

Saturday from 12pm to 5pm

Monday from 10am to 6pm

Tuesday from 10am to 2pm

Wednesday from 1pm to 9pm

As per the collective agreement, the 2025 hourly salary is from $21.13 to $29.10
