The Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking customer orders and delivering them to the delivery platform while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.

What does a Warehouse Associate do?

  • Safety-focused operation of powered equipment: lift trucks, power walkies, pump trucks, and order picking machine
  • Work safely and efficiently while adhering to all company and health and safety policies and procedures
  • Effectively load and unload trucks/trailers, placing stock in designated locations
  • Conduct final inspection of goods leaving the building
  • Maintain warehouse inventory data system
  • Proactively maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, including exterior walkways and parking areas
  • Communication with drivers for deliveries or pick ups, working as a team to complete tasks
  • Take daily direction from Warehouse Supervisor
  • Other duties as assigned

What do you need?

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment
  • Forklift and/or reach truck experience preferred - Raymond Reach Certification and experience considered an asset
  • Commitment to accuracy and detail
  • Experience with powered machinery
  • Basic math, problem solving, and computer skills
