Job Summary
The Facilities Manager is responsible for the daily operational management of McKesson facilities in the Dobrin office, coordinating services with outsourced Hard Facilities Services providers. The role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant workplace operations while focusing on vendor governance, employee experience, employee, team development and growth and cost optimization.
Location: 4705 Dobrin Street, Saint-Laurent, QC, CAN
Specific Responsibilities
- Oversees Dobrin’s site entirely including managing hard services plus external partners.
- Manage soft services directly (cleaning, security, reception, waste management, mailroom coordination).
- Monitor performance metrics, SLAs, and compliance of team and outsourced and external partners (National Facilities Operations Director is accountable for outsourced partners.)
- Supports Dobrin’s capital projects as defined by the National Director and portfolio strategy.
- Manages Dobrin’s operating and capital budgets.
- Leads compliance and crisis management at Dorbin.
- Support space planning, events, and workplace services in coordination with the Corporate and Canadian Real Estate teams.
- Implement sustainability, energy efficiency, and waste reduction initiatives.
- Manage facilities operating budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and accurate reporting.
- Respond to day-to-day operational issues, escalating critical risks to leadership.
- Partner with HR, MT, Security, Communications and business leaders to deliver a positive workplace experience.
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Lead and develop internal facilities staff and coordinators.
- Promote a safety-first, service-oriented, and accountable team culture.
- Lead, coach, and support facilities team members to ensure strong performance, clear accountability, and a positive employee experience.
- Set clear goals and expectations, providing regular feedback, development plans, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a collaborative, service‑oriented culture that emphasizes safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or Business preferred.
- Bilingual (French and English) required, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- 8+ years of facilities management experience in a multi-site corporate environment.
- Prior vendor management and contract governance skills.
- Knowledge of compliance standards (fire, safety, environmental, building codes).
- Proficiency in IWMS/CAFM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of building systems and facilities operations.
- Proven experience managing service providers and facilities budgets.
- Demonstrated ability to lead facilities staff and external partners, providing clear direction, feedback, and development to ensure high performance and strong collaboration

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
