As Brand Coordinator, you'll be the day-to-day owner of commonsku's brand presence — social media and how we show up across the promotional products industry. You'll manage our social channels end-to-end, help place and track our advertising with PPAI and other industry publications, and get hands-on experience drafting press releases and industry communications. You'll work closely with our Manager, Brand and Demand, and collaborate across Sales, Customer Success, and Product to keep commonsku's brand consistent, visible, and credible wherever our audience finds us. 💡 About You You're ready to move past the university classroom and own something real. You bring: A community mindset — You enjoy collaborating with teammates and building relationships, whether that's internally with your team or externally with industry contacts and media. (Community First) Curiosity and initiative — You're ready to run with a channel or campaign with minimal hand-holding, and you know when to ask for help. (Fast Forward) A learning mindset — You're curious about how brand and demand marketing work in the real world, and you're excited to represent a company's voice externally for the first time. (Ten Steps Ahead) Joy in building — You take pride in your work, care about doing it well, and celebrate the wins — big and small. (Delightful Work) A sense of humour — You know how to make a brand feel fun online. You bring fresh ideas to the table, aren't afraid to try something different, and can make people smile with a caption, a post, or a campaign concept. 🛠️ What You'll Do Brand & Social Media Own the social media content calendar end-to-end: planning, creating, scheduling, and publishing on-brand content across channels. Develop and pitch campaign concepts that build brand awareness and support demand generation goals. Manage community engagement — monitor channels, respond to comments and messages, and flag opportunities or issues to the team. Own performance reporting: track key metrics, identify trends, and turn them into recommendations for what's next. Act as a brand voice guardian, making sure everything published is consistent with commonsku's tone and values. Industry Presence & Advertising Assist in planning and placing paid advertising with PPAI and other industry publications, and help track budgets and report on performance. Draft press releases and other industry communications, working with the Manager, Brand and Demand on messaging and approval before distribution. Help build and maintain relationships with industry media contacts and publications. Support commonsku's presence at industry events and in industry-facing content. Promotional Merchandise Assist in the ordering and production of branded merchandise. Oversee distribution lists and quality control for merch programs. Assist in event merchandising. Team Support Support the Manager, Brand and Demand and Marketing Campaign Manager in planning and prioritizing brand and demand campaigns. 🔍 What You Bring Recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Hands-on experience managing social media for a business — through a co-op, internship, or similar — including content planning and performance reporting. Comfortable writing for external audiences, or eager to learn: press releases, industry publications, or other public-facing communications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail. A proactive, ownership mindset — ready to run with a channel or campaign with minimal hand-holding, and comfortable asking for help when needed. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once. Genuinely excited about brand building, social media, and the idea of representing a company externally. A good sense of humour and a knack for bringing that to social media — you know how to make content feel fresh, fun, and human. Bonus if you have: A completed co-op or internship in marketing, brand, or communications. Previous Hubspot experience. 💰 Compensation & Perks We believe in fair, transparent compensation. Starting salary for this role is $58,000–$65,000, depending on previous experience and skillset, plus a 5% annual bonus opportunity based on company performance. New hires are expected to come in as high as the midpoint of that range. However, if this role sounds perfect for you and your expectations are outside of this range, we encourage you to apply and let us know in your application about your ideal package. If we agree that it’s a good fit, we will have open discussion around what’s possible. Plus: Remote-first culture (with plenty of excellent in-person experiences sprinkled in) Company-wide closure between December 25th and January 1st Health and dental benefits, including a $1,000 healthcare spending account RRSP/TFSA contributions up to $3,000 a year (no employee contribution required!) Twice-yearly company wide summits (we call it HQ and you’ll love it) A delightful team of smart people who are good at what they do 🌎 Location This role is open to candidates eligible to work in Canada, with the exception of Quebec (we’re not set up to operate there yet — désolé!).
