Some of what you will do:
This role is responsible for the successful implementation of client onboarding and subsequent customer journey as customers are transacting with Staples Professional through an eProcurement integration. This includes projects involving punchout catalogs, as well as purchase order (“PO”) and Invoice ERP transmission. Role and responsibilities include executing key customer deliverables to the highest customer satisfaction, while effectively managing company costs, project quality, and ensuring committed timelines are met.
Specifically, You Will
Coordinate internal and customer meetings, scheduling milestones, Notifying appropriate internal stakeholders of key points in the project process, Tracking project progress through Salesforce.com (“SFDC) and when necessary, addressing and/or correcting issues or risks, and/or notifying the appropriate business partners for support, consensus, or guidance Design and configure key inter-systems linkages required for the successful end-to-end connection between Staples and its customer . BAU activities include, but may not be limited to, responding to customer requests for systems support (i.e. login errors, failed orders), and when possible, providing immediate remedy, and when required, escalating (i.e. “logging tickets”) to obtain required systems support, troubleshooting with customers to identify root cause or gather additional information, Monitoring and supporting if outages or interruptions are reported, and managing the communication plan to customer facing departments
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
Office environment This role involves minimal travel through Canada.
Some Of What You Need
MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, SharePoint, SFDC Strong knowledge of eProcurement industry (i.e. best practices, companies, good governance and acceptable risks) and systems (common eProcurement platforms and standard languages such as cXML, XML, EDI and, though rarely seen, familiarity with principles of JSON) Bilingual (French / English) is considered an asset 2 to 3 years in project management experience, and/or related functional areas in a distribution company Demonstrate working knowledge of PM processes, with proven experience in negotiation skills, conflict management skills, analytical & problem-solving capability, excellent communication skills both oral and written Ability to learn quickly and function with minimum supervision College or Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline, or a minimum of five years of progressive experience in a related field
