What does the role involve?

Reporting to the department manager, as a Visual Media Intern, you’ll have the chance to explore many facets of the field! You will actively participate in producing and editing a variety of visual content. Working closely with the visual media specialist and our external partners, you’ll contribute to the creation of videos, photos, audio material, as well as the setup and organization of the studio.

What is the ideal profile for this role?

• Education in a related field
• Practical knowledge of video formats
• Strong command of Premiere Pro, After Effects, Encoder, and Photoshop
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently while remaining well organized
• Willingness to occasionally travel as part of the role

As a Visual Media Intern, what will your responsibilities be?

• Organize and prioritize requests related to video, photo, and audiovisual (A/V) material in collaboration with the visual media team
• Handle requests within deadlines and established standards
• Collaborate with different departments to produce and finalize required video, photo, and audiovisual materials
• Provide audiovisual technical support for various projects
• Be open and available to travel abroad as part of certain productions
• Bring original, creative, and innovative ideas on how to use videos and photos, the platforms to share them, and strategies to increase views and retention
• Collaborate with communication team writers to bring creative concepts to life while ensuring alignment with brand guidelines
