Base Wage: $35.00 per hour. Additional premiums may apply.
**Location:**Elkford, BC. Housing is available.
**Schedule:**7x7, 11.5 hours per day

What You'll Do

As a Labourer at SMS Equipment, you’ll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced shop environment. Your day-to-day will include:

• Washing and cleaning heavy equipment, including removing mud, grease, and debris
• Painting service equipment and parts as required
• Assisting technicians with tasks like component removal or material handling
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free wash bay and shop area
• Using basic tools and equipment such as forklifts or hoists under supervision

What You Bring

We’re looking for a team player with a strong work ethic and safety-first mindset. Successful candidates will have:

• Minimum 1 year of related industry experience (or equivalent education/experience)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and time management skills
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in a variety of conditions
• Basic understanding of heavy equipment or willingness to learn
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (Forklift, WHMIS, and TDG training is an asset)
