Steady Part Time Work| 8-hour shifts (on average) | Tuesday & Thursday Scheduled Runs | No Overnights
Drive with Purpose & Support Essential Services in Your Community! Imagine starting your shift knowing your work directly supports essential services across the region. As an Interior Health Connector Driver, you’ll provide safe, reliable transportation for personnel and equipment along established routes, operating twice weekly. This role requires a steady, professional presence behind the wheel, strong attention to safety, and comfort navigating both urban and rural roads in varying conditions. Based in Kelowna, this position plays an important part in keeping critical connections moving smoothly and safely.
What You’ll Do
- Operate a Mini Coach 2 times a week on both Tuesdays and Thursdays
- Transport personnel and equipment between predetermined locations
- Conduct pre-and post-trip inspections and basic reporting
- Follow all safety and driving protocols in varying road and weather conditions
- Assist passengers with loading & unloading equipment as needed
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness and readiness
- Operate a two-way radio and manage fares accurately
- Maintain a safe and harassment-free environment for everyone
- Report any incidents, vehicle defects, or passenger safety concerns
- Fuel, wash, and check fluid levels of the vehicle
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Driver's License - minimum of Class 2Q
- Safety focused mindset
- Hold a clean commercial driver’s abstract
- Able to clear a required criminal record check and drug & alcohol test
- Provide a driver's abstract upon application and annually
- Ability to work independently
- Proven customer service experience
- Comfortable assisting passengers when boarding or de-boarding
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility
- Calm, professional, and safety-minded
- Able to work independently with changing schedules
- Promote a smoke free environment
- Experience in rural or winter driving conditions is an asset
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Previous shuttle driving experience
What We Offer

Hourly wage: $22.04/hour during probation, then increasing to $27.55/hour after probation period.

2 days a week Tuesday and Thursday | Same day service from Kelowna to Cache Creek & return
