We are looking for an AI Product Owner to lead the evolution of our next-generation Retail Promotion & Intelligence platforms. This position is currently open and reflects a new position created to support organizational growth The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity. This range is provided to ensure clarity and promote equitable access to employment opportunities. Responsibilities When your actions lead to success: Backlog Ownership — A Quarter of High-Quality Work, Always Ready Maintain a fully groomed, prioritized backlog 2 sprints ahead at all times Keep a healthy quarter-worth of decomposed, sprint-ready stories in the pipeline Prioritize every backlog item by ROI and business impact — no ambiguity in rank Ensure full traceability: user story → feature → business outcome Structure stories for scalability across banners and retail clients Sprint Performance & KPI Management Define and track core scrum metrics every sprint: Sprint velocity — forecasted and actuals tracked across quarters Story completion rate — measured against committed scope Defect leakage — identified per sprint, trended over time Feature adoption — reported per release to leadership Run structured post-sprint reviews: value delivered, ROI achieved, blockers resolved Communicate clear, quantified sprint outcomes to VPs, SVPs, and business leaders AI & Human-in-the-Loop Product Decisions Design and drive HITL workflows, balancing AI automation with human oversight Partner with Analytics teams to build dashboards tracking: cycle time reduction, error rates, campaign revenue uplift, and digital engagement Own ROI tracking per sprint and per feature release Customer-Centric Discovery & Story Writing Lead customer discovery with merchandising, promo, and marketing teams at top North American retailers Translate client insights into crisp, outcome-driven user stories with clear acceptance criteria and definition of done Drive affinity mapping and problem decomposition sessions Cross-Functional Leadership Bridge strategy and execution across Engineering, Data & Analytics, UX/UI, and business stakeholders Ensure development teams are continuously fed well-defined, high-quality stories at optimal capacity Act as the single point of accountability between product vision and sprint delivery Qualifications When your expertise drives us: 3-7 years in Product Ownership or Product Management Retail, eCommerce, Promotions, or MarTech platforms KPI definition and sprint-level ROI tracking Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent dashboards Deep Scrum/Kanban execution Affinity mapping and story decomposition Acceptance criteria and definition of done Sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives Backlog management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.) Translate technical concepts into business language Strong stakeholder management and influence When benefits really help you live better: We offer a comprehensive and flexible benefits package designed to support your well-being and help you thrive—at work and at home.
