About the role

Description We have an immediate opening for Dock Load Planners at our Dartmouth, Nova Scotia Terminal

Full-time, Monday-Friday Day and Night Shift available

7am-3pm or 6pm-3am

Must be familiar with shipping/receiving dock work, be organized and technically savvy Job Duties Entail Ensure all customer freight organized for timely delivery

Effective communication with Dock Supervisors and Staff

Attend any planned meetings and respond to correspondence & voice mails within agreed timelines

What We Need From You A Willingness to Work! Dependability & a Good Attitude are key

Reliable Transportation - must be living in the area

Proficient In Microsoft Office, Experience And Strong Technical Skills Understanding of the Truck Mate system is an asset

Experience operating BRINGG software is an asset

Ability to use scanners, paperwork as required

Responsible to watch for/address any safety concerns

Strengths in Conflict Resolution, Time Management, Multi-tasking

Ability to work Safely in a fast-paced team environment

Safety boots/shoes

Clean criminal background
