Position: Family Support Specialist
Type: Part-time, project-based Compensation: $60–$80/hour Duration: 4–6 weeks Commitment: ~5 hours/week Role Responsibilities
- Review caregiver- and family-support content for clarity, accuracy, and practical usefulness.
- Validate materials related to respite care, advocacy organizations, state/local benefits, and service system navigation.
- Assess guidance addressing sensitive topics such as caregiver burnout, relationship strain, and intra-family conflict.
- Ensure content reflects real-world needs and accessible pathways for neurodiverse families.
- Provide concise, high-quality expert feedback to strengthen dataset consistency and accuracy.
Qualifications Must-Have
- 10+ years of experience as a therapist, LCSW, support group leader, or respite-care leader.
- Deep familiarity with caregiver-support services, respite programs, advocacy networks, and state/local benefit systems.
- Experience supporting neurodiverse individuals and families in a variety of emotional and practical contexts.
- Proven ability to communicate with clarity, empathy, and professionalism on sensitive family topics.
- Strong review skills and the ability to refine structured support content.
