Job Description The Yardi Manager, Canadian Multifamily is responsible for leading and overseeing the Yardi system as it relates to Tricon’s Canadian Multifamily (CAMF) operations. They lead platform administration and optimization for the Canadian multifamily and mixed-use portfolio. Based in Toronto, this hands-on leader is responsible for managing and enhancing Yardi ecosystem—including Yardi Voyager (International Version), Elevate, RENTCafe, CRM IQ, Payscan, Commercial, and Construction Manager - to support a rapidly growing portfolio with precision, autonomy, and a service-first mindset.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Platform Ownership: Administer and optimize the Yardi environment across residential and commercial assets, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
- Onboarding & Expansion: Lead the onboarding of new buildings into the Yardi platform, including data migration, configuration, and training.
- Portfolio Support: Provide day-to-day support for property teams, resolving issues, enhancing workflows, and ensuring operational excellence.
- Strategic Execution: Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, and Asset Management to align Yardi capabilities with business goals.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, automate tasks, and improve reporting across modules.
- Accounting Support: Apply a strong understanding of accounting principles to support GL accounting, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) workflows within Yardi.
- Integration Management: Maintain and enhance integrations between Yardi and third-party interface vendors, supporting teams with new and ongoing integrations, troubleshooting, and capability expansion.
- Training & Documentation: Develop training materials and conduct sessions for property managers, leasing teams, and support staff.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Liaise with Yardi and third-party vendors to troubleshoot, escalate, and implement solutions.
- Compliance & Data Integrity: Ensure data accuracy, system security, and compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience supporting both residential and commercial portfolios.
- Strong understanding of Yardi International version and its configuration nuances.
- Background in IT systems administration.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a hospitality-driven mindset.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- A “do-er” who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Someone who can bridge the gap between technology, operations, and accounting

Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Yardi Voyager and related modules (Elevate, RENTCafe, CRM IQ, Payscan, Commercial, Construction Manager).
- Solid grasp of accounting workflows and principles, with experience supporting GL, AP, and AR processes.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience with reporting tools, SQL, and data analysis.
- Real estate or property management experience.
