Additional Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical office environment, with a strong preference for Oncology experience, coupled with the successful completion of a medical terminology course. Demonstrating the ability to cultivate positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, the incumbent will serve as a valuable liaison on behalf of our Clinicians and Operational staff. Success in this dynamic role requires superior oral and written communication skills, coupled with critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, all reinforced by a commitment to quality patient care and collaborative teamwork. The position demands exceptional organizational and decision-making skills, with the versatility to thrive both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Initiative-taking is a must, along with a keen attention to detail in handling diverse assignments. The successful candidate will showcase adaptability in managing workflow, exercising discretion, and prioritizing tasks in a sensitive, confidential, and timely manner. Must meet the physical demands of the job, which may include sitting for extended periods, lifting supplies and equipment weighing up to 30 lbs., using repetitive motions such as lifting, bending, walking, reaching, and standing for prolonged periods, is crucial to fulfilling the responsibilities of this role effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated proficiency in Connect Care is valued, and possessing a background in Business Administration is considered an asset. Preference will be given to candidates with Oncology experience. During the interview process, you may be asked to show your computer knowledge through a hands‑on assessment. This will include demonstrating your typing speed and navigating through a variety of commuter programs ensuring it aligns with the demands of the workload.
