Reporting to the MRO Inventory manager, the Stock Keeper / General Plant Deliveries will be responsible for deliver all chemical, office supplies, plant supplies and requisition orders to the area Supervisor who requested these. They will also help out at the parts counter when required.
This is an existing position in the company.

What You Will Be Doing
- Unload trailers of incoming parts, regularly lifting and moving heavy machinery and chemicals drums and totes.
- Follow First In, First Out (FIFO) procedure to ensure old products delivered to requestor first.
- Deliver plant supplies, cleaning chemicals and office supplies as requested by individuals in the main plant.
- Ensure all requisitioned deliveries are signed off by the requestor when their parts are delivered.
- Service the parts counter by accurately retrieving parts and issuing them out in a fast-paced environment.
- Enter information about all deliveries that were made during their shift, daily with 100% accuracy.
- Ensure related costs of plant supplies, chemicals and office supplies are assigned per the requisition to right departments.
- Keep an accurate count of stock levels of all plant, chemical and office supplies by performing cycle counts in the main inventory building on a weekly basis and communicating supplies that are low in stock to Purchasing.
- Adhere to good housekeeping standards by collecting skids, emptying garbage bins and sweeping floors as required.
- Inspect and ensure carriers used to load or unload goods are clean and do not pose a food safety hazard.
- Maintain the garage where chemicals are stored to ensure that it is neat, clean, and well organized.
What You Will Bring
- 2-3 years’ experience in a warehouse role.
- Have a good understanding of working in a warehouse environment.
- Understand concept of FIFO and 5S.
- Working knowledge of HACCP.
- General Computer Skills.
- Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to operate a forklift and stacker.
