THE OPPORTUNITY: As a project coordinator in the Geomatics Department, you will directly support managers in the execution of surveying projects from start to finish. Your work will include proposal support, project administration, field preparation, quality assurance, and project organization. You will have the opportunity to work directly with office and field technical staff, project managers, and clients. WATT will provide training in project processes and technical software including Civil3D and Trimble Business Centre.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • Diploma in geomatics or civil engineering, or minimum two years of industry experience.
  • Possess an understanding of the surveying project process including data preparation, field surveys, quality assurance, and plan production.

WHAT YOU WILL DO AT WATT:

  • Work with project managers to support them in execution of surveying projects from proposals to close-out.
  • Maintain project status reports and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Prepare files for field crews for legal and construction surveys.
  • Process field returns and perform quality checks as per WATT standards.
  • Actively communicate with project managers and technical staff to ensure client needs are being taken care of with high quality work.
