MEDLIFE works with students from around the world in order to broaden their perspectives and better equip them to advocate for social justice.
Our ideal Sales Training Expert
We are seeking a freelance Sales Training Expert to design and deliver training sessions for our sales team. The ideal candidate is a highly experienced sales professional who excels in coaching, ethical storytelling, objection handling, pipeline management, and mission-driven sales . You are passionate about equipping others with practical tools, motivated by purpose-driven work, and capable of tailoring your expertise to a nonprofit context.
This role is seasonal and project-based — training will not occur every week but will be delivered in targeted sessions as defined by MEDLIFE’s training calendar. This is not a full time job.
About the role
The Sales Training Expert will collaborate with MEDLIFE’s Talent Development and Sales Leadership teams to create and facilitate training modules that strengthen the performance, mindset, and ethical selling skills of our sales staff. The focus will be on building both technical sales capabilities and soft skills aligned with MEDLIFE’s mission and values.
What will your day-to-day look like at MEDLIFE?
Primary topics may include (but are not limited to):
- Sales & Soft Skills : impactful first pitches, mission-driven conversations, motivational coaching, managing volume, organizational skills.
- Objection Handling : cost, safety, and academic concerns; practice labs for handling real-world objections confidently.
- Ethical Sales & Storytelling : using authentic narratives to inspire students, and maintaining mission alignment.
- Mindset & Resilience : staying motivated, navigating rejection, and maintaining perseverance in high-demand cycles.
- Other training topics related to sales.
What will you bring?
- Proven expertise in sales training, coaching, and facilitation (preferably with experience in mission-driven or nonprofit contexts).
- Deep knowledge of sales techniques, objection handling, storytelling, and pipeline management
- Strong background in creating interactive and practical training experiences (role-plays, labs, real-world practice).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
- Passion for MEDLIFE’s mission of advancing social justice.
- High proficiency in English (written and verbal)
