Position Summary
The Maintenance & Engineering department is currently seeking a Permanent Full-Time Maintenance III (Electrician) to join their team.
Effective Date: September 8, 2025
Department/Unit/Program Description
The Ross Memorial Hospital Maintenance Department, maintains the physical environment and provides related services to support the Hospital in reaching its goal of excellence in healthcare and public service. Hospital Maintenance includes electrical services, HVAC services, plumbing services, and general building maintenance services.
Essential Qualifications
- Must hold a current Ontario Trade certification as an Electrician
- Ability to interpret drawings, applicable codes, etc.
- Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of equipment
- Assist in minor building renovations
- Knowledge of applicable Occupational Health & Safety Act regulations
- Must have strong trouble shooting and client communication skills
- Must be able to fulfill physical requirement of the job, as per current Physical Demands Analysis
Hours of Work
Must be available for day, evening and on-call shifts Monday to Sunday. Shifts and hours may change according to departmental requirements and as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.
