Key Accountabilities: Providing technical direction with team input and feedback Assisting in developing coding standards and testing approaches Collaborating with the Architect (if applicable) to realize technical vision and direction Considered an expert in a major application and/or technical domains, and is highly regarded for their technical competence. Providing expert advice and counsel to key stakeholders on development project teams on complex issues related to “area of specialty” Providing reviews of solution designs and related code Proficient in security scanning and implementing best practices to resolve security issues Mentor and help team members in technical knowledge and best coding practices
Skills/Experience/Competencies: 5+ years of work experience with Java & SpringBoot and as a Java Developer 3+ years experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases such as Postgres, MongoDB 3+ years of experience with Redis or caching strategies 3+ years of experience deploying and managing containerized applications on GCP using Kubernetes 3+ years of experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) 3+ years of experience with REST API design Have knowledge in Object Oriented and Functional Design Have used modern JS toolsets (ES6, Typescript, Babel, Lerna, Jest, Protractor)
Nice to have: Have work experience as a React.js and Node.js developer. You have experience building scalable, enterprise level technology stacks with JavaScript but ideally with a broad set of tools Have experience working on projects that involve Application Security like oAuth2 and/or SSO Have well rounded knowledge of Agile principles and the flexibility to adapt your experience to new and evolving environments Quick learner
Soft Skills Required: Passion to work in a fast pace high performance team and having a desire to take the team towards the next level. You are able to do deep research alone, to solve problems in a timely manner. You are passionate about sharing your solution to the team Excellent Communication Skills You have considerable initiative, curiosity, creativity, and attention to detail. You have a high level of energy, commitment, and a strong sense of teamwork. Education:
- Post-secondary education in Software Engineering or Computer Science.

Staffing Solutions: We have a focused team of people that provide staffing for our APM solution. We can run the APM solution for the clients that invest in this solution. We also take the experience further and provide full staffing for other business and technical requirements.
Custom Developments: Based on our experiences with our clients, we are often asked to provide a custom written software solution. These projects often complement our existing AQA solution set. If you have a particularly difficult business issue, we have the people, processes and experience to build an appropriate solution.
