About the role
Marcon is seeking a Property Manager to independently manage day-to-day property operations across an assigned portfolio of income-producing assets in the Lower Mainland. The portfolio may include mixed-use buildings, single-family homes, retail, office, and warehouse properties.
Reporting to the Regional Property Manager, this role supports portfolio performance by maintaining strong property standards, professional tenant relationships, disciplined financial oversight, and responsive operational coordination. The Property Manager brings sound judgment, strong follow-through, and practical property management expertise to support safe, well-maintained, compliant, and tenant-focused properties.
This role is well suited to a property management professional who is comfortable working across a diverse portfolio, balancing multiple priorities, and coordinating with tenants, contractors, civic authorities, emergency services, and internal stakeholders.
The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a varied property portfolio and contribute directly to the performance, service quality, and operational discipline of Marcon’s income-producing assets. You will play a key role in supporting tenant experience, lease and regulatory compliance, budget accuracy, property maintenance, inspections, reporting, and emergency coordination.
You will work in an environment where organization, professionalism, communication, and problem-solving are essential. Success in this role requires the ability to manage issues proactively, escalate risks appropriately, and maintain accurate property records and reporting across multiple assets.
What You Bring
You bring 5–7+ years of experience in property management, facilities management, real estate operations, leasing, or a related field, ideally with exposure to mixed residential, mixed-use, retail, office, warehouse, or single-family rental properties.
You have strong working knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act of British Columbia, lease administration, property operations, inspections, tenant relations, maintenance coordination, and property compliance requirements. You also bring working knowledge of provincial occupational health and safety expectations.
You are confident managing budgets, rent collection inputs, operating costs, rental rate analysis, vacancy activity, reporting, and property performance information with accuracy and discipline. You communicate professionally with tenants, contractors, civic authorities, emergency responders, and internal partners.
You are organized, responsive, and able to manage multiple properties, priorities, deadlines, records, and service needs with strong accountability. You are comfortable using Microsoft Office and property management systems, and you apply sound judgment in using digital tools to improve efficiency and decision-making.
A Rental Property Management License is required; unlicensed candidates with relevant experience will also be considered. A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required to support travel across Marcon properties.
