The Treasury Board Secretariat is seeking to fill the position of Treasury Board Coordinator.

Conditions of Employment:

  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

  • Must be able to work overtime as required (evenings, weekends and holidays)

  • Must be able to provide and maintain a satisfactory criminal record check

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Significant coordination and/or administrative experience in an executive role where work is prepared for the Senior executive level
  • Excellent attention to details and proofing and editing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that foster respectful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, colleagues, and executive management
  • Strong political acumen for professional and confidential communication with departments/areas.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and perform in a fast-paced environment to keep up with the rapid flow of information
  • Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Adobe Pro, SharePoint
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Strong written communication skills

Duties:

The Treasury Board Coordinator supports the operations of Treasury Board, a sub-committee of Cabinet. The incumbent is responsible for managing the weekly TB meetings schedule, the collection of required materials, posting materials in an organized and correct fashion in the online software for review by Treasury Board members (Ministers, MLAs) and the finalization of minutes. Serving as a central point of coordination, this role demands a high level of accuracy, organization, discretion, and attention to detail to maintain operational efficiency.
