RESPONSIBILITIES ASSOCIATED WITH PERFORMING THE JOB

• Inspects and cleans area on a daily basis
• Observes safety rules for handling various chemicals, check machine vents to ensure air vents are working.
• Obtain chemicals from stockroom to furnish etching lines
• Checks panels on a continuous basis for etching failure
• Performs maintenance and cleaning of machinery on a weekly basis
• Performs cleaning and minor repairs of all equipment and machinery used for etching on a weekly basis

SKILL/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE JOB

• A mechanical aptitude is essential
• Good reading, writing, and arithmetic abilities are required
• Manual dexterity, speed, accuracy and hand-eye coordination is essential to maximize production
• Must be knowledgeable of proper safety standards and procedures
• Must be able to cooperate and work effectively with others to ensure efficient and smooth operation

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL EFFORT REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE JOB

• Considerable amount of standing, bending, and lifting is required in operation of machinery;
• Physical activities including carrying, reaching, pulling, pushing, twisting, grasping; the pace is controlled by machines and production scheduling.
• Must be able to respond to tight production deadlines during regular and peak periods and to last minute demands and requirements.
• Many tedious and repetitious activities and movements requiring constant intense concentration and attention to detail and involves considerable standing in one spot.
• Creative abilities are involved in trying to maximize production while minimizing machine downtime,
• Frequent periods of intense concentration is required when handling hazardous chemicals, calculating and adding correct amounts to tank
• work involves a high degree of visual attention, attention to detail when operating machines, inspecting output and handling chemicals

WORKING CONDITIONS WHILE PERFORMING THE JOB

• Noisy, odorous conditions, additionally exposed to chemical substance.
• Overtime and shift work are required
