LOCATION: Kitchener-Waterloo, ON
KW Habilitation is a local not-for-profit organization that provides a wide range of individualized services and supports to children with any special need and adults with developmental disabilities. We support individuals to live a fulfilling life which is fostered through preschool and early learning supports, respite services, residential services, community participation, and employment supports.
The RBA will ensure that effective, ethical, and quality behavioural services are provided at KW Habilitation. The successful candidate will work as a consultant with various stakeholders for the purposes of assessment, implementation, and evaluation of interventions for individuals who have disabilities and are experiencing behaviours that challenge.

Responsibilities
-
Providing direct clinical interventions
-
Consulting with KWH support team to develop Behaviour Support Plans that emphasize positive behaviour supports
-
Providing training, and assisting with or running workshops and presentations on specializations related to Applied Behaviour Analysis

Duties will be determined by the Clinical Manager based on need, and the RBA will report to the Clinical Manager
Requirements
-
Registered as an RBA in good standing with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario
-
Registered with the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board as a BCBA is an asset
-
Completed master’s degree relevant to the field of behaviour analysis
-
Minimum three years of experience working in the field of Behaviour Analysis
-
Knowledge of Functional Behavioural Assessments, including indirect and direct assessment methods and functional analysis
-
Experience working with people who have limited communication; Training in developing or implementing communication programming on vocal, AAC, or other methods of communication is an asset
-
Able to work successfully both independently and collaboratively with internal and external professionals
-
Able to meet deadlines and prioritize multiple projects effectively
-
Valid Driver’s License and access to personal transportation is required

Pay Rate: $32.59 – $36.22
