In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain a highly effective sales strategy for a specified market (British Columbia) to improve ABB’s market penetration and achieve its growth aspirations. Each day, you will plan and ensure the execution of the business area/division sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for the assigned territory in a profitable way with a focus on orders, revenues, growth, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will be mainly accountable for:
- Defines and implements annual performance assessments and forecast processes for channel partners and direct sales team.
- Ensuring appropriate communication, promotion, and training activities are in place for our channel partners
- Defines and implements the specified market (British Columbia) sales strategy, in accordance with the marketing and sales strategy and ensures regular follow-up to achieve them.
- Provides specified market channel strategy input to the Regional Business Manager. Defines key targets (e.g., volume, prices, mix) for their respective market in the specified market and ensures they are achieved.
- Ensures that detailed business plans with regular follow-ups are in place.
- Develops training plans for internal teams, in all aspects of sales and business strategic execution
Qualifications for the role
- You are highly skilled in Sales Strategic Planning and Execution and have technology skills in SalesForce, Empower, Excel and PowerPoint for the ELIP market in British Columbia.
- Have established skills for a minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales Management or Business Management in the Electrical or other construction related industries.
- You are motivated and innovative by team development and strategy planning and execution with measurable results and being a strong leader.
- Degree in Business Management or Marketing or have relative practical work experience in a related industry.
