The Opportunity:
Under Sunwing Vacations, we are looking for a Payload Coordinator to join us in making vacation dreams come true. As the Payload Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting in achieving load factor and margin targets at route levels and by brand, as well as implementing the pricing strategies and maintaining the competitive position for the routes assigned. The position reports to the Manager, Payload and will be located in Toronto, ON.

What You’ll Do:

  • Implement price point strategy, analyzing market trends, competitor pricing, and customer demand to maximize profitability and maintain a competitive edge
  • Review Risk production to ensure target numbers are being met, and addressed to manager
  • Assist in the costing of group sales and odd durations
  • Maintain flight inventory, duration maintenance to achieve load factor targets

What You’ll Need:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Travel Industry
  • Analytical: Strong analytical skills are necessary to compare sales trends and determine market data
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are important, as pricing analysts work with team members at all levels, including marketing, product, costings, groups, and the sales centre department
  • Detail-oriented: The ability to pay close attention to detail while remaining accurate is crucial in the analysis
  • Problem-solving & critical thinking: use problem-solving skills to identify declining sales trends and devise strategies to improve them
  • Knowledge of Excel, TTS, and Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Tour Operator experience is an asset along with Product & Destination knowledge
