The Go-To-Market Evolution Team sits at the heart of the end-to-end value chain transformation of how lululemon operates. We act as an internal consultancy that identifies and conceptualizes process optimization opportunities while providing strategic planning support, evaluating & driving synergies, streamlining processes, and making actionable recommendations to raise efficiency and drive profitability.
We always have the guest in mind when we identify, and drive integration needs across the value chain and make recommendations for action in alignment with the Company’s overall strategy. The team members are essential thought partners with several areas of the Company, including executive leadership, global brand, regional brand, merchandising, planning, design, supply chain and other functions that support how we sell our product.
This means taking a holistic approach to meet our guest expectations by improving our GTM processes and timelines, establish a KPI driven approach on how we go to market that complements our creativity, and increase our partner collaboration while yielding higher quality processes, better strategy integration and an authentic engagement with all involved parties.
The selected candidate will be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and team leader who can provide input into future growth opportunities, along with strategic direction and prioritization while integrating cross-functional strategies into the GTM process.
core responsibilities
The Senior Manager, GTM Evolution is responsible for holding a specialized portfolio within the broader transformation of our end-to-end go-to-market value chain. They know the intricacies of the entire GTM process as their work cuts across all the specialized/functional areas. This person will ensure on-time delivery of work streams, raise risks and flags to the GTM leadership team as well as lead complex and impactful initiatives and work streams underneath the overall transformation umbrella. They will
support the Director in exec reporting, materials, updates, and other documentation as needed and will support effective decision making.
They will partner with leaders across the Organization to deliver lululemon’s transformation agenda by leading work-streams in large-scale business transformation programs including scoping, planning, project management, exploration, solutioning (incl. process mapping). They will work with enterprise transformation, org effectiveness, change management, and the business to plan and execute implementation and support the business through hyper care.
Each day will look different in this role, including activities like clarifying strategic questions, project managing workstreams, design solutions and delivering solutions:
- Enhance the GTM process by applying process design solutions for the broader downstream value chain modules in mind, predominantly focused on ‘Assort & Buy’, and ‘Make & Move’ that integrate across the entire end-to-end go-to-market value chain
- Act as an internal advisor to Merchandising, Planning, Brand, and Supply Chain leaders to define the problem, develop options, and design solutions
- Within their GTM Transformation workstreams and broader initiatives identify opportunities and requirements that will unlock efficiency towards our goals and enable the adherence of the current and future GTM process
- Identify opportunities to influence GTM Evolution and broader initiatives that will enable functional needs and improve collaborative efforts across brand product and channel teams
- Establish a connected value chain vision inclusive of upstream assorting and buying activities along with downstream sales and operations planning inclusive of design alignment, governance, stakeholder management, and planning for pilots
- Project manage complex initiatives and coordinate cross-functional teams to implement workstreams within big transformation programs
- Lead a cross-functional team in the execution of your workstream
- Support scheduling of working sessions with business partners and the work-back activities and reviews required to prepare for working sessions
- Conduct and/or guide detailed process mapping and capability modelling
- Build trusted relationships at multiple levels of the organization to provide clarity and garner buy-in for ongoing initiatives
- Support enterprise-level, cross-program prioritization, dependency mapping, and planning
- Collaborate with other teams involved in business transformation programs (e.g., change management, communications, learning/training, org design) to plan and deliver against transformation objectives on-time and on-budget
qualifications
A Deep Understanding of a vertically integrated retail – has 10+ years of experience working within a Product function that has led to deep understating of best practices and processes or enterprise transformation function, preferably building and rolling out best practices and/or processes across brand and marketing. Previous exposure to Brand, Marketing and chanel and/or experience in an international region is a bonus.
Exposure to Hyper-Growth that required adaptability as a leader to evolve the team & processes. Exposure either as part of organization or group that experienced significant growth.
Global in Understanding. Has strong working relationships globally; experienced in supporting a global framework both regionally and HQ.
Guest Centric - almost obsessed with the path-to-purchase and committed to enhancing the product and marketing along the way.
- Minimum of 10+ yrs of relevant professional experience in this field of work, including consulting and/or direct business management
- Deep understanding of apparel value chain, specifically merch/merch planning/inventory processes
- Experience in managing complex workstreams by deeply immersing yourself to understand dependencies while balancing several stakeholders (consulting and/or business transformation experience a plus)
- Strong facilitation and problem-solving skills to drive alignment and innovative solutions
- Strategic vision and creative thinking: ability to look beyond existing paradigms, and change the organization according to new business concepts
- Ability to drive problem solutioning: frames problems, guides analytical modeling, and through analysis provides insights into solutions
- Excellent communication skills, being able to distill complex workstreams into digestible frameworks
- Drive continuous improvement and increased efficiency and effectiveness as business needs shifts
- Proven track record of building relationships, establishing rapport, credibility and trust

compensation and benefits package
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $134,100-$176,000 annually ; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and, subject to program eligibility requirements.
