Practice in 100 Mile House typically includes inpatient care, ER shifts, and community clinic full scope practice.
Additional information:
• Special interest in Obstetrics is a benefit
• ER shifts are 12 hours, paid via APP
• Expectation to cover own inpatients
• Community rotation schedule for Doctor of the Day shifts
• Opportunity to teach students and residents
• Leadership development opportunities are available through Interior Health’s NAVIG8 Program.

Qualifications:
- Eligible for The College of Family Physicians of Canada Cert. (CCFP)
- Eligible for licensure with CPSBC
- Coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association is mandatory
- Emergency experience
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS)
- Advanced Trauma Life Support Certification (ATLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification (PALS)
Call Schedule:
Hours of work: No Details
On call requirements: 4-6 ER shifts per month
Compensation:
Estimated Gross Income
For full time services, the annual rate is $366,046 at the current 2024/25 Emergency Medicine Area A (EMEMGP). Please note this is based on a 1.0 position in the emergency department. Compensation may vary.
