Reporting to the IT Coordinator, the IT Technician is primarily responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of the company's IT equipment and providing support to all users on worksites.
What you will do
-
Provide problem-solving services to users;
-
Test and install computer hardware;
-
Install, maintain, and upgrade equipment, identify and resolve issues;
-
Supply site equipment (printer, photocopier, phone, cell phone, computer, Internet connection);
-
Maintain inventory of available telecommunication equipment;
-
Have subcontractors check all photocopiers returning from sites to ensure they are in good condition before redistribution to another project;
-
Prepare equipment shipments to sites and offices;
-
Apply updates to workstations, servers, and routers;
-
Ensure new employees have all required equipment;
-
Enjoy collaborating with a dynamic team!
This role could be for you if you have
-
Hold a college diploma in computer technology or a relevant field;
-
Have 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
-
Possess in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office suite software;
-
Have advanced English and French skills, both spoken and written;
-
Have good teaching abilities;
-
Demonstrate autonomy, adaptability, diplomacy, rigor, and discretion.
