About the role
About The Role Join our Manufacturing Operations team as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright) and play a key role in maintaining and improving highly automated production equipment. This is an opportunity to work with advanced robotics, hydraulics, and pneumatics in a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated production equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and complete work orders on schedule
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and robotic systems (Fanuc)
- Install and modify equipment such as conveyors, fans, and guards
- Ensure safe and efficient operations while minimizing downtime
- Collaborate with the maintenance team and follow escalation processes
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
What We’re Looking For
- Industrial Millwright License 433A (Red Seal) – required
- 2–5 years’ experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance
- Strong background with hydraulics, pneumatics,(PLC) automated systems
- Experience with Fanuc robots or equivalent robotic systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Commitment to workplace health & safety
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime
Education
- Diploma in Electro-Mechanical Technician, Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering Technician, or Automation & Robotics
