About the role

Cavendish Farms is seeking an IS Shared Services Administrator, determined based on experience and qualifications.

Reporting to the Information Services Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing IS Administrative support to all Cavendish Head Office, Field Sales and Corporate IGM users.

The primary function is ensuring that users have the tools necessary to complete their jobs by way of administering the delivery of hardware, software and system security while maintaining hardware levels so to limit user downtimes.

  • Processing onboarding and off boarding of employees.

  • Administer and monitor requirements for employees.

  • Monitor, prioritize, and create technical incident or service requests

  • System Access Request creation and Administration.

  • Procurement of technology including equipment, mobility, iPads, laptops.

  • Monitor and control technology life cycle, maintain acceptable inventory levels.

  • Work closely with Technical Tower Support in resolving user issues.

  • Post secondary education in Information Technology preferred.

  • 3-5 years of experience in an IT environment providing User Support.

  • Experience with End user technology lifecycle execution.

  • Handheld Mobility configuration.

  • Excellent Communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple activities.

  • Strong can-do attitude and proactive mindset.
