About the role:
As part of the Global Finance Support team, you will be a key team member for Global consolidation functions, and also support regional and local finance teams with accounting issues in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
In this role, you will:
- You will be responsible for accounting and consolidating financial results in a multiple currency environment including supporting acquisition accounting and various global projects.
- You will review financial data, address regional or local accounting/reporting issues, prepare consolidation journal entries, audit and reconcile financial submissions and support the preparation of financial statements.
- The role will also be responsible for preparing working papers and liaising with external auditors as necessary.
What you bring:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting in a sizable and complex organization
- CPA Designation
- US GAAP experience including complex accounting concepts and consolidation in a multiple currency environment
- Experience with SOX requirements
- Consolidation software (OneStream or Cognos Controller, etc.) experience is strongly preferred.
- Acquisition accounting experience including purchase price allocation and auditing of financial information
- Strong analytical skills and equally capable of providing strategic input and macro analysis as well as ‘deep diving’ into financial and operational detail
- Strong financial modeling skills with experience creating and reviewing complex models
- Well-developed oral, written communication skills to convey complex issues in a clear and concise manner
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a diverse group across the organization

Approximate Salary Range for Role: $90,307 to $135,000 CAD.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
