About the role
We're looking for a Program Associate to focus the strategy, design, and execution of OneEleven's programming and events. This role supports the growth of high-potential tech companies by delivering experiences that serve their entire teams across multiple levels and functions.
From founder peer groups and leadership workshops to people and culture sessions, product-focused programming, community events, and partner activations, you will create a
programming pipeline that delivers real value. Whether it's a CEO focused on fundraising or a team lead focused on operations or growth, your work will help enable their success.
This is a high-ownership role for someone who is proactive, collaborative, and excited to build meaningful, community-driven experiences for scaling startups. This role is in-person Monday to Friday with occasional requirements to attend events outside of work hours.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
Program and Event Strategy
- Plan, design, and manage OneEleven's full programming and events calendar
- Develop and deliver experiences that support a variety of roles within member companies including founders, product teams, people leaders, marketers, and operators
- Execute a wide range of programs including skills workshops, peer groups, mentorship, wellness initiatives, community events, and partner activations
- Work closely with marketing, operations, and partnerships teams to bring programs to life and ensure strong participation and visibility
Community Engagement and Ecosystem Relationships
- Build strong relationships across member companies to understand evolving needs at all levels of the organization
- Identify and manage speakers, mentors, facilitators, and external partners
- Represent OneEleven in the broader tech community through events and ecosystem engagement
Execution, Measurement, and Reporting
- Manage logistics, communications, timelines, and budgets for all programs and events
- Track key performance indicators and use insights to improve program quality and relevance
- Provide regular reporting on program performance, member feedback, and engagement outcomes
What We're Looking For
- Experience designing and delivering programs or events in tech, startups, or innovation ecosystems
- Understanding of the needs of early and growth-stage startups across various functions and roles
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong project management abilities and attention to detail
- High level of autonomy and initiative with a collaborative, community-first mindset
Preferred Attributes
- Experience running leadership or functional peer groups
- Knowledge of the Canadian tech ecosystem and startup funding landscape
- Previous work in accelerators, venture studios, or community-building roles
