Charter is currently seeking a motivated Junior Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Analyst to support cybersecurity governance, risk management, compliance initiatives, and business continuity planning. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in policy creation, risk assessments, and compliance monitoring.
What You’ll Do
- Support development and maintenance of cybersecurity governance frameworks.
- Conduct third‑party and internal security risk assessments.
- Perform security compliance reviews and track remediation.
- Assist with internal/external audit preparation and evidence collection.
- Contribute to security awareness and training program development.
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning activities.
- Document risks, exceptions, standards, and procedures.
- Work with GRC platforms and support ongoing process improvements.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience in Cybersecurity Governance, Risk & Compliance.
- 3+ years in Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Planning.
- Experience developing policies, standards, and procedures.
- Experience supporting audits and compliance activities.
- Background in IT and/or ICS/SCADA environments.
- Experience with GRC tools and risk management documentation.
- At least one relevant security certification (CISSP, CISM, CISA, ABCP, MBCP, etc.).
- Relevant experience within North America.
