SUMMARY:
The Channel Account Manager is responsible for delivering an action plan by account to achieve specified targets in selling the full line of LG Information Displays (ID) and future new business to LG existing and new reseller partners in Western Canada. They will motivate, train, and mentor assigned ProAV, Digital Signage and IT reseller partners.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with existing ProAV, Digital Signage, and IT Reseller partners
- Develop new accounts/relationships
- Strengthen relationships with existing LG accounts
- Attend industry events
- Develop account profile – key contacts / project landscape / competitors
- Perform learning/education training sessions
- Manage projects across various cycles
- Deliver action plan against accounts to gain greater LG mindshare
- Keep up to date with latest LG Product Road Maps
- Participate in forecast calls
- CRM management – activity and opportunity focus
- Understand market share within existing accounts and develop action plan to close gaps
- Report to management competitive landscape
- Keep abreast of industry trends and market intelligence through E-learning, industry magazines, sales related materials, trade shows, etc.
- Additional duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- University degree preferably
- 5 – 10 years of channel sales experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Should reside in major center of a Western Canadian province
- Excellent presentation skills
- Creative ability
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Able to form productive relationships with all levels of an organization on an ongoing basis
