Experience Expertise in the course content, previous experience as an instructor at the university level, and evidence of teaching excellence. Ph.D. candidates must state their qualifications and teaching experience.
Responsibilities:
-
delivering 3 hours of in-person lectures in person each week
-
preparing for lectures by reviewing the main instructor's recorded lectures and any other background material needed to cover the same material in class (the instructor's slides will be made available)
-
attending a 30 minute class admin meeting advising TAs and the instructor each week
-
advising the TAs and instructors of any timing or content differences that have arisen each week with the in-person class
-
providing input and revision support on homework to align with content as covered with in-person class
-
holding 3 hours of office hours a week.
