Scope Specific project responsibilities, including, but not limited to:

  • Review and thoroughly understand contract scope requirements for each contract under your supervision.

  • Create thorough contract execution plan in line with company core values and business goals (safety, financial, operational, strategic) on management approved contract execution template for each contract under your supervision.

  • Submit contract execution plan for each contract under your supervision to management for review and approval.

  • Adjust contract execution plans as required to receive contract execution plan management approval.

  • Schedule meetings with each staff member and department involved in each management approved contract execution plan under your supervision to communicate required “task support” necessary from each involved staff member and department to fulfill each contract execution plan, and to outline performance expectations and performance measurement metrics that will be utilized to ensure desired contract execution outcomes are achieved. Ensure these meetings are all transcribed (documented).

  • Ensure each staff member and department involved in each management approved contract execution plan under your supervision understands and agrees to the task support they will be providing, the performance expectations required, and the performance metrics that will be utilized to assess the success of their contributions to the desired contract execution outcomes. Ensure this process is documented and that each involved staff member and department signs off acknowledging and agreeing to the task support they will be providing, the performance expectations for their contributions, and the performance metrics that will be utilized to assess the performance of their task support in achieving desired contract execution outcomes.

  • Execute management approved contract execution plans under your supervision in accordance to plan.

  • Monitor contract execution performance for all contracts under your supervision. Ensure monitoring activities are documented and meet the standard and frequency outlined in the management approved contract execution plan.

  • Measure contract execution performance for all contracts under your supervision. Ensure measurement activities are documented and meet the standard and frequency outlined in the management approved contract execution plan.

  • Reflect on contract execution performance measurement outcomes for all contracts under your supervision. Ensure reflection activities are documented and meet the frequency and standard outlined in the management approved contract execution plan.

  • Communicate performance measurement results and result reflections to all staff and departments that are signed on to provide task support for each contract under your supervision. Ensure documentation of communicated performance measurement results and result reflections to all staff and departments. Have all staff members and departments sign off on the communicated measurement results and result reflections indicating they acknowledge and understand the communication.

  • Revise contract execution plans as necessary for each contract under your supervision to achieve desired contract execution outcomes.

  • Submit revised contract execution plans to management for review and approval.

  • Adjust revised contract execution plans as required to receive contract execution plan revision approval from management.

  • Schedule meetings with each staff member and department involved in each revised contract execution plan under your supervision to communicate revisions to required “task support” necessary from each involved staff member and department to fulfill each contract execution plan, and to outline revised performance expectations and any revised performance measurement metrics that will be utilized to ensure desired contract execution outcomes are achieved. Ensure these meetings are all transcribed (documented).

  • Ensure each staff member and department involved in each management approved contract execution plan under your supervision understands and agrees to revisions to the task support they will be providing, revisions to the performance expectations required, and revisions to performance metrics that will be utilized to assess the success of their contributions to the desired contract execution outcomes. PPE Requirements

All Supervisors on site are required to wear and maintain the following**personal protective equipment (PPE)**while on site:

  • CSA-approved steel-toe safety boots
  • Hard hat (CSA-approved)
  • High-visibility vest or clothing
  • Protective gloves as required for site inspections or hands-on tasks
  • Safety glasses or goggles
  • Hearing protection in designated high-noise areas
  • Flame-resistant (FR) clothing where required
  • Fall protection equipment (harness, lanyard, anchorage) when supervising work at heights

CP Services provides all required PPE and ensures personnel are trained in its proper use and maintenance in accordance with Alberta OHS legislation and site-specific requirements.

Work Environment

The Supervisor role is based onindustrial oil and gas worksitesand involves oversight of multiple trades and maintenance personnel, which may include:

  • Remote or rotational camp environments
  • Elevated or confined work areas requiring adherence to fall protection and confined space protocols
  • Exposure to industrial noise, dust, heat, chemicals, and varying weather conditions
  • Indoor and outdoor inspection, coordination, and hands-on supervision in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance environments

Supervisors are expected to ensure compliance with allsite-specific safety protocolsand Alberta OHS regulations, provide guidance and oversight for safe work practices, conduct safety briefings and inspections, and support the operational readiness and wellbeing of all personnel on site. CP Services prioritizes a safe working environment and equips Supervisors with the training and resources needed to enforce safety and operational standards effectively.

Please note the successful candidate will be required to pass a drug and alcohol, fit for work exam, Respiratory Fitness Test, Mask Fit Test, provided by C.P. Services.

Applicantsmust already holdthe following certifications to be eligible for this position. If the successful candidate does not already possess these certifications, they will be required to obtain themat their own expenseprior to commencing work.

General Certifications Required:

  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License

  • Valid Drivers Abstract - No more than 4 demerit points
