The Opportunity:

We’re looking to fill an opening for a Senior Manager, Board & Enterprise Communications to join our Communications team for 12 months.

Reporting to the Director, Corporate Communications, the Senior Manager, Board & Enterprise Communications supports Aviso’s executive leadership by developing high‑quality Board, shareholder, and ownership communications, while also contributing to enterprise‑wide internal communications. The role bridges governance‑level reporting with internal narrative alignment, ensuring clarity, consistency, and strategic context across audiences. It requires strong judgement, adaptability, and the ability to deliver clear, credible executive communications in a complex, evolving environment.

What your day looks like:

  • Support the development and refinement of quarterly reports to the Board, including CEO reports, strategic progress updates, and performance-against-goals narratives for board review

  • Support internal communications related to enterprise strategy, transformation initiatives, and executive priorities

  • Help translate board-level and strategic narratives into appropriate internal communications where alignment is required

  • Collaborate with People & Culture, Strategy, and senior leaders to ensure internal messages are timely, clear, and credible

  • Apply consistent writing standards, tone, and narrative discipline across executive and internal communications

  • Manage timelines and inputs across multiple senior stakeholders

Requirements

Your experience and skills:

  • 7–10+ years of experience in corporate, executive, or internal communications

  • Exceptional writing, synthesis, and editorial judgement, with the ability to translate complex or abstract ideas into clear, engaging, and impactful communication

  • Experience developing high‑quality Board, shareholder, and ownership communications

  • Proven experience supporting senior leaders, executive committees, and other high‑stakes stakeholders

  • Strong comfort working with financial, strategic, and operational content

  • Demonstrated ability to influence, mobilize, and advise senior leaders as a trusted strategic partner

  • Experience in financial services or other regulated industries preferred

  • Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset

Salary

This position is posted with an expected salary of $80 CAD per hour.
