As an RVT at Huntsville Animal Hospital, you’re not just a technician—you’re a vital part of our team. Work alongside experienced veterinarians, RVTs, and support staff to provide top-notch care. Our AAHA-accredited facility is fully equipped with the latest tools, including Logic E portable ultrasounds, cutting-edge soft tissue surgery, and beyond. You won’t just practice as an RVT—you’ll excel.
Job Responsibilities
Communicate in a compassionate and professional manner with clients and colleagues. Execute quality diagnostic imaging. Provide excellent veterinary nursing care while adhering to provincial regulations and Fear Free techniques. Administer and analyze diagnostic tests as directed by the Veterinarian. Assist Veterinarian with surgical and therapeutic procedures, including administering and monitoring anesthesia and analgesia. Operate and maintain medical equipment. Manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Maintain and support a collaborative work environment and assist other team members as needed. Working with Client Services Representatives answering phones, greeting clients, and taking payments as needed.
Skills And Basic Qualifications
Licensure in good standing with the OAVT. Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
We’re committed to promoting a healthy work-life balance with flexible scheduling. This position is for a part-time position with the opportunity to become full-time. No on-call duties obligations. Your well-deserved downtime is yours to enjoy.
