Co-op Program Overview

Are you caught between a love for data-driven growth strategies and a passion for creative corporate communications? You don't have to choose!

The Bellwether's Co-op Program is designed to introduce high-achieving undergraduate students to the fast-paced world of wealth management. This unique role bridges the gap between deep technical data architectures and modern digital marketing strategies. Working closely with our high-performing Corporate Development, Marketing and Operations teams, you will gain highly marketable skills, collaborate across multiple departments, and build a strong professional network.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Data Operations Deal Sourcing Support: Assist with the deal sourcing, acquisition, and screening processes. Data Architecture: Support the design, development, and maintenance of internal data pipelines and database structures. Data Integrity: Execute data migration, cleansing, and validation processes to ensure precise business development reporting. Process Automation: Collaborate with the team to identify areas for technical workflow improvements and automation. Documentation: Create and maintain clear documentation for technical workflows and database schema updates.

Marketing & Communications

Content & Social Media: Assist with content planning, creation, and execution across social media, video platforms, and our website. Analytics Tracking: Support digital analytics tracking using tools like GA4, HubSpot, and Google Search Console. Market Research: Conduct competitor and market research to inform content strategy and brand positioning. Collateral & Campaign Support: Assist in refining landing pages, email workflows, and sales collateral for advisors. Event Coordination: Support logistics, materials preparation, and coordination for webinars, corporate events, and PR opportunities. Web Maintenance: Help update and manage the website content library, ensuring brand consistency and accuracy. CRM Clean-Up: Assist with building reporting dashboards and maintaining clean data within CRM and marketing tools. Perform other assigned tasks.

What You Bring (Qualifications)

We are looking for an analytical, proactive, and detail-oriented student who maintains exceptionally high professional standards and a keen desire to learn.

Academic Background: Currently enrolled in a post-secondary co-op program (Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or Business/Finance with a strong technical/analytical focus). Academic Excellence: A proven track record of outstanding academic achievement. Technical Skills: Strong technical aptitude with exposure to database management, Excel, and data visualization tools. Experience with CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce) is a strong asset. Execution & Drive: High energy, a fast learner, and exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple overlapping projects. Collaborative Spirit: A proactive team player with a "roll-up-the-sleeves" attitude who thrives in a cross-functional environment.
