Job Description:

On behalf of our client, Affinity is looking for a Senior Securities Operations & Pricing Analyst with deep hands-on expertise in Aladdin and the ability to guide best practices, support complex investigations, and enable faster resolution of data exceptions and operational breaks.

Responsibilities:

• Perform security master new setups, maintenance, and ongoing validation for multiple asset classes including Equities, Futures, Options, Bonds, Cash, and Benchmark securities.

• Configure and maintain fixed-income instruments including Bonds, ABS, MBS, CMOs, and CLOs

• Ensure accurate reference data origination and maintenance across upstream and downstream systems

• Validate security pricing and market data from external vendors

• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies between vendors, Aladdin, and internal systems

• Investigate and resolve payment breaks from a Security Master perspective

• Update and maintain payments in Paycheck, including coupon resets and cash flow accuracy

Data Workflow, Controls & Documentation

• Own end-to-end data workflows across Security Master, Pricing, and Benchmark Security setups

• Develop, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for key security setup, pricing, and payment break resolution workflows

• Monitor data quality metrics and perform targeted data cleansing activities

• Conduct advanced root-cause analysis on recurring data issues and implement preventative controls

• Coordinate with client / application support and technology teams to resolve data flow and system issues and ensure SOPs remain aligned with system and process changes

• Respond to complex user inquiries, issues, and data requests in a timely and professional manner

• Provide operational oversight for data control functions

• Act as a subject-matter expert, sharing Aladdin best practices and supporting team capability uplift

• Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and data quality

Qualifications:

• Deep hands on expertise with BlackRock Aladdin (Security Master, Paycheck, ADC, and data reporting tools)

• Security Master & reference data management across multiple asset classes (e.g., equities, futures, options, bonds, cash, benchmarks; including configuration of FI instruments such as ABS/MBS/CMO/CLO)

• 5+ years’ resolving payment and cash reconciliation breaks from a Security Master perspective

• You are a senior-level operations professional with deep system expertise, strong analytical capabilities, and a proven ability to independently resolve complex data and system issues. You take ownership of outcomes, actively contribute to knowledge sharing, play an active role in establishing standardized, well-documented operational practices while continuously seeking opportunities to improve data quality and operational resilience.

• Deep hands-on expertise in Aladdin and the ability to guide best practices support complex investigations and enable faster resolution of data exceptions and operational breaks. You will be accountable for end-to-end workflows including security master setup and maintenance, pricing validation, and cash and payment break resolution from a security master perspective. Leveraging strong analytical and technical skills, you will perform root-cause analysis, partner closely with technology and application support teams, and develop and maintain standard operating procedures to support consistent, well-control execution across Securities Operations and Pricing activities.
