You'll work directly with the CEO on high-priority initiatives, building the systems that help Alloy River move faster across every part of the company. What You'll Work On Bring structure to open-ended, high-priority problems. Surface the analysis that lets us make better decisions and keeps the team focused on what matters most. Step into whichever function has the problem and build what it needs. That could look like: standing up the email infrastructure for outreach, creating an invoicing system for a product line, or building and maintaining investor-facing metrics. Reach for Cursor/Codex/Claude Code to build the tooling yourself rather than waiting on engineering, and leave behind systems that keep working after you move on. What We're Looking For This role is for an analytical, business-minded generalist who shifts between strategy and execution and thinks in terms of leverage. 3-5 years of experience in business operations, strategy, consulting, strategic finance, or a similar analytical role. Business-first and function-agnostic. You connect dots across teams, get to root causes, and design durable solutions, not one-off fixes. Strong quantitative skills. You self-serve data and own the metrics and reporting that leadership and investors rely on. You are proficient at using AI to build systems independently. This is not production engineering, but you make working tools. Comfortable with ambiguity, with the judgment to prioritize, sequence, and surface risks early. Clear, concise communicator. Bonus experience includes: Experience in high-growth SaaS or technology environments. A clear point of view on how AI can reshape how a business operates. How We Work You will report directly to the CEO and own real problems as a peer, not as support staff. This is a build role. You will be making the systems, not managing people who make them. This role is in-person full-time at our gorgeous office in Liberty Village, Toronto.
