About the role
We are seeking a Mobile Development Lead to lead the design, development, and delivery of Android mobile applications. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, define mobile architecture standards, and mentor development teams while building scalable, high-performing applications using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Android SDK.
Responsibilities
Lead Android application development and technical delivery.
Design and implement mobile architectures using MVC, MVP, and MVVM patterns.
Develop modern mobile UI using Jetpack Compose.
Build reusable components, libraries, and frameworks.
Integrate applications with REST APIs and backend services.
Conduct code reviews and enforce development best practices.
Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, and DevOps teams in Agile environments.
Mentor developers and lead onshore/offshore teams.
Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
Support CI/CD implementation and release management.
Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of Android development experience.
Strong team leadership experience.
Strong expertise in: Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, Android Architecture Components, REST API integration
Solid experience implementing: MVC, MVP, MVVM
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
Strong understanding of mobile security, performance tuning, and application lifecycle.
Experience leading offshore and onshore development teams.
Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery models.
