Klohn Crippen Berger’s Power and Transportation Group in Vancouver, has an immediate opening for a Civil / Structural Technologist or Technician. The successful candidate will join a dynamic company of motivated and hardworking professionals committed to delivering high quality engineering and environmental services. Initiative, enthusiasm and commitment to technical excellence are all important qualities of our team members.
Duties will include producing detailed civil and structural design drawings for transportation and heavy civil projects using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. After gaining design experience, KCB offers opportunities to perform field inspection work and construction monitoring. Project opportunities may include: bridges and hydroelectric dams, and assisting with geotechnical site investigations.
If you have a Civil Technology diploma from a recognized technical institute, we want to hear from you. We Value Your
- Experience & proficiency with the latest versions of AutoCAD and Civil3D.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Tools.
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to produce quality deliverables with attention to detail.
- Experience with preparing/updating/finalizing and filing engineering drawings.
- Strong interpersonal, time management and organization skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and the ability to effectively work with a team of professionals.
- Willingness to travel for project assignments and training opportunities as required
The salary for this position is $60,000 to $75,000 per year. Salary is based on applicable experience, education, and skill level.
