Role & Impact
Under the guidance of maintenance manager, you will play a key role in addressing the following
challenges:
Job Summary
Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Electrician will be responsible for
installing, maintaining, and upgrading electrical components to minimize downtime and
improve efficiency.
Responsibilities
- The installation, assembly, connecting, testing, repairing, troubleshooting, maintenance
and upgrading of electrical fixtures, components, apparatus and control equipment to
minimize downtime and maintain or improve efficiency.
- Troubleshooting and systematically diagnosing and correcting faults in electrical or
electronic systems and equipment by repairing, and/or replacing electrical or electronic
components as required.

Complete electrical log and modify plant electrical blueprints.

Follow plant lockout procedures and all pertinent company health and safety procedures.

Ensure all guards including panel doors are in place.
What You Bring to the Role
Qualifications and Education Experience
- Valid Industrial Electrician License
- Industrial Electrician experience considered an asset
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP considered an asset
- Ability to function effectively autonomously and in a team environment
