POSITION SUMMARY:
The Communications + Partnerships Co-Ordinator is a dynamic and collaborative role responsible for supporting the execution of The Royal’s internal and external engagement strategy. This position plays a key role in delivering best-in-class public education events, activating internal employee initiatives, and fostering meaningful partnerships aligned with The Royal’s brand and strategic priorities. The Co-Ordinator will also oversee the organization’s master engagement calendar and act as a project lead on cross-functional communications campaigns and initiatives.
DUTIES:
- Lead the planning and execution of public-facing education events and campaigns, including The Royal’s signature “Conversations at The Royal” series, ensuring alignment with strategic themes and community priorities.
- Drive employee engagement by coordinating internal events, recognition initiatives, and activations that foster culture, collaboration, and belonging across The Royal.
- Act as the project coordinator for key communications initiatives, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder input are managed effectively from start to finish.
- Manage and maintain a centralized calendar of internal and external engagement activities, including grand rounds, educational events, and brand moments, to support organizational alignment and planning.
- Support the implementation of The Royal’s brand strategy through partnership engagement and event collaboration, ensuring consistency across all public and community-facing initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- College Diploma in public relations, Brand Management, Communications, Event Management and Business Marketing, Project Management. Undergraduate Degree preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years in related field
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proven ability to design, coordinate, and deliver high‑impact events and activations for both public-facing and internal audiences.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders across complex projects.
- Demonstrated experience building, maintaining, and strengthening productive relationships with internal teams, community partners, and external vendors.
- Solid understanding of brand strategy, with the ability to translate it into consistent, on‑brand communications, programming, and experiences.
- Ability to align event planning and engagement initiatives with broader organizational objectives and strategic communications priorities.
- Excellent writing, editing, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for diverse audiences and formats.
- Skilled in maintaining and optimizing master calendars, tools, and workflows to ensure effective coordination across departments.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive engagement practices, with the ability to design events and communications that reflect and respect diverse communities.
- English level A- is mandatory in oral comprehension, expression, reading and writing. Bilingual (English/French) is preferred.
