About the role

WRAPAROUND FACILITATORS – Multiple Contract Opportunities Peel Wraparound Program Contract Until March 2027 5 Full-Time Positions (37.5 hours per week) EveryMind Mental Health Services , the lead agency for child and youth mental health in Peel, is seeking skilled, experienced, and enthusiastic mental health professionals to join our team as Wraparound Facilitators. In this role, you will support children, youth, and families with complex needs through a structured, high-fidelity Wraparound process. Working collaboratively with families and their formal and informal support networks, you will facilitate individualized, strength-based plans, address crises, coordinate services across multiple systems, and help families achieve their goals within their identified life domains.

EveryMind is an accredited child and youth mental health organization that provides a continuum of high-quality mental health services for children, youth and their families who are experiencing or are at risk of experiencing mental health, social, emotional and/or behavioural challenges. Our services are provided in a dynamic, client-centred environment that values respect and inclusion, collaboration, learning, innovation, and accountability.

The Peel Wraparound Process is a team-based planning approach that provides families who experience emotional, social, behavioural, or mental health challenges with individualized, coordinated, family-centered care to meet the complex mental health needs of children and youth who are involved with other child/youth/family-serving systems (e.g., child welfare, youth justice, education, and healthcare). Wraparound’s strength-based planning approach helps families by developing a team of both formal and informal supports to “wrap around” them. Wraparound facilitators provide services to children, youth and their families in-home, in-school and in the community.

  • These are contract positions until March 31, 2027, with a start date of January 1, 2026

Hiring Salary range - $53,833 - $58,225 (Step 1- Step 3 in a 5 step pay band) Please note that hiring salaries are commensurate with experience and generally start at the beginning of the range

Job Responsibilities:

  • Guide families through a high-fidelity Wraparound Process, including identifying life domains, strengths, needs, values, beliefs, and coping strategies.
  • Facilitate family/team meetings and develop individualized Wraparound service plans aligned with family goals, strengths and values.
  • Employ systemic and evidence-based/evidenced-informed approaches (e.g. collaborative problem solving, solution-focused techniques, motivational interviewing) to enhance child, youth and family functioning.
  • Engage and coordinate formal and informal supports to build collaborative family teams.
  • Assist families with advocacy and liaise with community partners across sectors (e.g., child welfare, education, youth justice, healthcare).
  • Support access to services, implement and monitor alignment of service plan with family goals, and provide linkage and referral to appropriate resources.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate crisis and safety plans to address complex needs and ensure child, youth and family safety.
  • Provide transitional support and discharge planning to sustain skills post-service.
  • Provide group services as required.
  • Maintain comprehensive case records and data in accordance with the organizations’ standards and timelines.
  • Participate in supervision, team meetings, and professional development opportunities as required.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Social Work, Psychology, Child & Youth Care, or related discipline, with eligibility for membership in the appropriate professional College or Association. An equivalent combination of a three-year College Diploma in related discipline and relevant experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience working with children/youth and families in a mental health and/or developmental services setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to the Wraparound Community Values.
  • Embraces diversity and demonstrated cultural awareness with critical self-awareness; understanding of engagement with diverse cultures; and ability to work within a child/youth/family centered, family-system using a strength-based approach.
  • Previous training in Wraparound Process and Model is a decided asset.
  • Current knowledge of the legislation for children’s and youth services.
  • Demonstrated family and youth engagement skills, facilitation skills and the ability to build trusting relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, conflict resolution, time management, initiative, independence, creativity and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong understanding of systems theory and experience engaging systems to meet the goals of children, youth, and families.
  • Proficiency in languages in addition to English is a decided asset.
  • Group facilitation experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge of client information systems, report writing and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid Ontario Driver’s license (Full G Class) and use of a vehicle with comfort in driving clients throughout the Peel region and surrounding areas.
  • Available to work flexible hours, including evenings, according to client needs.
  • A Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check and Pre-Employment Medical screening (including TB test, MMR, TD, Polio, Covid-19 Vaccination), is required.
