Job Description/ Responsibilities
We are seeking a Senior Engineer (Cyber, Data & Security) with 6 to 8 years of experience to join our Threat & Vulnerability Management (TVM) team. The ideal candidate will be an API Vulnerability Data Engineer responsible for curation of vulnerability data inclusive of enterprise reporting on risks.
In this role, you will focus on managing API security vulnerability data, creating comprehensive enterprise reporting, and driving risk-informed decision making.
API Vulnerability Data Engineering
Data Curation: Curate, normalize, and enrich API vulnerability data from multiple sources. Risk Reporting: Develop and maintain enterprise-wide reporting on API security risks. Data Pipeline Management: Build and maintain data pipelines for API vulnerability data.
Enterprise Reporting & Analytics
Dashboard Development: Create comprehensive dashboards for API vulnerability metrics. Risk Analysis: Analyze vulnerability data to identify patterns and prioritize remediation. Stakeholder Communication: Translate technical API vulnerability data into business insights.
Required Technical Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 6–8 years with hands-on experience in cybersecurity and data engineering. Programming: 3-5 years hands-on experience with Python + JavaScript. API Security: Deep understanding of API vulnerabilities and security best practices. Data Engineering: Experience with data pipelines and reporting frameworks. Vulnerability Management: Knowledge of CVE databases and vulnerability lifecycle.
Soft Skills & Team Alignment
Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to analyze complex data sets. Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to data accuracy. Strong Communicator: Present technical findings to diverse audiences.
