About the role
At Quails’ Gate Estate Winery, first impressions matter. Our grounds are the beginning of the guest experience, and we take pride in creating a welcoming, beautiful estate that reflects the quality and care behind everything we do.
We’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Seasonal Landscape & Handyperson to support both our Landscaping and Maintenance teams in keeping the property guest-ready throughout the season. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys varied work, takes pride in a job well done, and thrives in a positive, team-oriented environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the upkeep and appearance of estate grounds and outdoor spaces
- Assist with landscaping tasks, including planting, trimming, watering, weeding, and general property maintenance
- Perform basic repairs and maintenance projects across the estate
- Help ensure guest-facing areas remain clean, safe, and welcoming
- Work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, organization, and task completion
What You Bring:
- Previous experience with landscaping, groundskeeping, or general maintenance and repairs
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take direction when needed
- Adaptable and comfortable working in different locations across the estate
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
