Job Description

We’re seeking a hands-on Chef Manager to lead food and catering operations at Ledcor, ensuring culinary excellence, team development, and client satisfaction. This role is pivotal in driving quality, safety, and service while meeting budget goals and executing company programs.

Job Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Culinary Execution
• Plan, organize, and direct all aspects of food and catering operations.
• Schedule and assign daily tasks to the food service team; oversee
completion and quality.
• Train and coach staff on food safety, sanitation, cooking techniques, and
service standards.
• Ensure food preparation follows standardized recipes and continuously
improve cuisine quality.
• Foster a positive work environment through strong leadership and employee
support.
Client Experience & Program Delivery
• Maintain excellent customer service and a professional attitude toward
guests, clients, and coworkers.
• Communicate effectively to understand guest needs and provide guidance
and feedback.
• Oversee special catering events and ensure flawless execution.
• Collaborate with the District Marketing Manager to implement health,
wellness, and sustainability initiatives.
Operational Oversight
• Perform weekly/monthly inventories and administrative duties including
scheduling and reporting.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment for all stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation protocols.
Qualifications
• 2–3 years of experience in a related culinary or hospitality leadership
role.
• Post-secondary education in Hospitality or equivalent (minimum 3 years).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage operations, and deliver exceptional
food experiences.
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
